DENPASAR, NusaBali.com – SMP Dwijendra Denpasar belum lama ini mengadakan kegiatan pasraman untuk mengenalkan para siswa tentang Sarana Banten Saraswati. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan siswa-siswi pada makna dan filosofi di balik Banten Saraswati, serta memberi mereka kesempatan untuk belajar langsung mengenai proses pembuatan sarana upacara agama Hindu.
I Ketut Budayasa, ST, M.Pd, selaku Plt. Kepala Sekolah SMP Dwijendra, menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan pasraman ini merupakan yang pertama kali diadakan menyambut Hari Raya Saraswati pada Sabtu (8/2/2025). “Pada perayaan Saraswati, kami mengajak seluruh murid dan guru di SMP Dwijendra untuk mengenal lebih dalam tentang Banten Saraswati. Kami menjelaskan apa saja yang terkandung dalam Banten tersebut, makna dan nilai filosofinya, serta tujuan dari penggunaannya dalam upacara keagamaan,” ungkapnya.
Sebelumnya, pada perayaan Saraswati enam bulan lalu, SMP Dwijendra hanya mengadakan kegiatan seperti membuat sate, ngelawar, dan sembahyang bersama. Namun, untuk tahun 2025, sekolah ini ingin melibatkan siswa lebih dalam, mengenalkan mereka pada tradisi membuat Banten Saraswati yang merupakan bagian penting dari upacara Hindu di Bali.
Mengenalkan Kearifan Lokal kepada Generasi Z
Selain pengenalan tentang Banten Saraswati, para siswa juga dilibatkan dalam berbagai kegiatan keagamaan yang mencerminkan kearifan lokal Bali. Anak-anak laki-laki diajarkan untuk membuat sate dan lawar, sementara anak-anak perempuan dilatih untuk merangkai Banten dan mejahitan.
“Kami ingin mengajak generasi Z untuk lebih memahami dan mengenal budaya Bali. Saat ini, banyak orang yang lebih memilih membeli canang dan lawar secara praktis, sehingga dengan kegiatan ini kami harap mereka dapat belajar membuat sarana upacara sendiri,” tambah Budayasa.
Antusiasme siswa-siswi dalam mengikuti kegiatan pasraman ini sangat tinggi. Meskipun cuaca hujan dan angin kencang, semangat mereka tidak surut. Mereka terlihat bersemangat mengikuti semua tahapan kegiatan, dari pembuatan sarana prasarana upacara hingga persembahyangan Saraswati.
Harapan untuk Pengembangan Kegiatan di Masa Depan
Melihat kesuksesan kegiatan ini, pihak SMP Dwijendra berharap ke depannya kegiatan serupa dapat lebih ditingkatkan dan dikembangkan. “Kami berharap kegiatan semacam ini tidak hanya berhenti pada perayaan Saraswati, tetapi juga dapat diperluas untuk kegiatan piodalan lainnya. Tujuannya agar anak-anak didik kami dapat terus belajar dan lebih mendalami budaya Bali, sekaligus mencintai tradisi luhur yang ada,” tutup Budayasa.
Dengan kegiatan pasraman ini, diharapkan generasi muda Bali tidak hanya mengenal tradisi, tetapi juga mampu menjaga dan melestarikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. *m03
