DENPASAR, NusaBali.com – SMP Dwijendra Denpasar menyelenggarakan lomba paduan suara sebagai bagian dari rangkaian Bulan Bahasa Bali VII pada tahun 2025. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di aula Yayasan Dwijendra Denpasar, Kamis, 27 Februari 2025, dan melibatkan seluruh siswa dari kelas VII hingga IX, beserta para guru dan staf.
I Ketut Budayasa, ST., M.Pd., selaku Plt. Kepala Sekolah SMP Dwijendra Denpasar, menjelaskan bahwa lomba ini bertujuan untuk mengajak seluruh siswa terlibat aktif dalam pelestarian budaya Bali. “Kami ingin kegiatan ini bukan sekadar mencari juara, tetapi bagaimana siswa dapat berpartisipasi dan menikmati prosesnya,” ujarnya.
Lomba paduan suara dibagi berdasarkan jenjang kelas dengan tiga jenis lagu berbeda. Kelas VII menyanyikan lagu “Enggung” dengan 13 kelas peserta, kelas VIII menyanyikan lagu “Ambu Putih” dengan 8 kelas, dan kelas IX menyanyikan lagu “Suksema Hyang Widhi” dengan 7 kelas. Persiapan lomba dimulai sejak awal Februari, dengan latihan intensif selama tiga jam terakhir menjelang hari H.
Apresiasi terhadap Semangat Siswa
Budayasa mengapresiasi semangat siswa dan wali kelas yang telah membimbing anak-anak hingga lomba berjalan lancar. “Awalnya, banyak siswa yang tidak percaya diri karena tidak semua bisa bernyanyi. Namun, mereka akhirnya menunjukkan antusiasme dan kebahagiaan yang luar biasa,” ujarnya.
Juri lomba terdiri dari keluarga besar Yayasan Dwijendra Denpasar, termasuk perwakilan dari SMK dan SMA Dwijendra Denpasar, serta mantan guru SMP Dwijendra. Lomba ini juga menjadi momentum kebangkitan kembali Bulan Bahasa Bali setelah sempat vakum akibat pandemi Covid-19.
Kegiatan ini bertepatan dengan HUT Kota Denpasar ke-237 dan aturan penggunaan pakaian adat Bali. Budayasa berharap, momentum ini dapat menumbuhkan semangat pelestarian budaya Bali di kalangan generasi muda. “Semoga siswa SMP Dwijendra Denpasar dapat menjadi SDM unggul yang turut memajukan Denpasar dan Bali,” tambahnya.
Ni Nyoman Ayu Suliantsri, S.Pd., guru wali kelas VII H, mengungkapkan kebanggaannya atas prestasi kelasnya yang meraih juara 3. “Siswa kelas VII H awalnya tidak percaya diri, tetapi mereka berlatih dengan tekun dan menampilkan kreativitas seperti koreografi dan formasi menarik,” ujarnya.
Ayu, yang juga merupakan atlet pencak silat dan guru olahraga, berharap agar kegiatan Bulan Bahasa Bali ke depan tidak hanya terbatas pada lomba menulis aksara Bali, tetapi juga mencakup permainan tradisional seperti gala-gala, tajok (enggrang), dan deduplak. “Kami ingin melestarikan warisan budaya Bali yang mulai terlupakan oleh generasi muda,” tegasnya.
Dengan semangat kolaborasi dan kreativitas, SMP Dwijendra Denpasar berhasil menciptakan euforia pelestarian budaya Bali melalui lomba paduan suara ini. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat terus dilaksanakan dan menjadi inspirasi bagi sekolah-sekolah lain di Denpasar. *m03
